After growing frustrated with seeing politics used to benefit the privileged few, she took the bold move to go out on her own and create her own consulting firm, Elking Consulting.
As a seasoned lawyer and lobbyist, Tiffany Elking brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. With a background in government relations, she has a deep understanding of the intricacies of the political landscape and the ability to navigate it with finesse. You can read her resume here.
Her previous role as Assistant Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives saw her take on a wide range of responsibilities, including crafting legislative solutions, driving floor debate, and acting as lead counsel and parliamentarian for multiple House committees. She was also a crucial member of the House of Representatives’ redistricting legal team in 2010, a coveted and confidential position. Her efforts were instrumental in achieving a summary judgment ruling, which is almost unprecedented in redistricting lawsuits.
Tiffany holds a law degree, cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School, where she has also served on the Board of Directors from 2013-2019. During law school, she wrote for The John Marshall Law Review and gained valuable experience working for the City of Chicago’s Law Department, the Office of U.S. Senator Richard Durbin, and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Robert W. Gettleman from the Northern District Court of Illinois.
Her experience, knowledge and skills are a testament to her ability to deliver results-driven success and her meticulous attention to detail. With her guidance and representation, clients can trust that their interests are in good hands.
When she’s not connecting with the who’s who of the political world, she enjoys hiking with her dog Ajax in the Blue Ridge mountains, drinking geisha coffee in Central America or planning her next interior design project.
